Job summary

XpertDirect is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and implement intelligent workflows and AI assistants that connect LLM APIs with enterprise systems. You will operate at the intersection of AI engineering, backend development, and business automation, delivering practical automation that reduces manual tasks.

The role emphasizes building production‑ready integrations, evaluating AI tools, and collaborating with product teams to deploy scalable automation across EU operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Software Eng / Backend / AI / Automation roles.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into applications/workflows.
• REST APIs and third‑party integrations.
• FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with RAG and retrieval‑based AI applications.
• Experience building production apps or automation workflows.

You’ll work at the intersection of AI Engineering, Backend Development, and Business Automation, building practical solutions that automate repetitive tasks, streamline operations, and bring AI capabilities into production enterprise applications.

Core Skills

• 3+ years in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, AI Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a similar role
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into applications or workflows
• REST APIs and third-party integrations
• FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks
