COFCO International is seeking an AI Technical Architect in Barcelona to provide hands-on technical leadership for AI design, delivery and continuous improvement across the organization. You will guide AI programs, define architectures, and implement scalable, secure AI solutions in line with company policies and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development, integration, or technical leadership.
• Practical experience designing and delivering AI-enabled or data-driven solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft AI technologies.
• Experience guiding developers within cross-functional teams and complex global IT environments.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain AI solution architectures and lower-level components (applications, data, models, prompts, agents, APIs, integrations, security, deployment).
• Define practical AI architecture patterns and reusable components for Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG, document intelligence, enterprise search, and conversational AI.
• Provide hands-on coaching to AI Developers to align with COFCO guidelines and best practices.
• Coordinate technical activities across AI initiatives and support teams to resolve design and production issues.
• Assess requirements and translate them into secure, scalable AI solution designs.
• Ensure adoption of AI technologies, models, data sources, and integration patterns in delivery.
• Review designs, code approaches, prompts, and deployment patterns with actionable guidance.
• Lead feasibility studies and PoCs for AI opportunities and options.
• Evaluate AI technologies, models, and platform services, documenting risks and costs.
• Apply governance, security, privacy, data protection, and responsible AI requirements.
