Job summary

Bayer AG in Brenes, Spain is seeking a Logistics and Operations Specialist to manage sample logistics for the Innovation Hub Brenes and support daily site operations. You will coordinate events, visits, and field activities with Adecco and internal teams, ensuring traceability and safe handling of materials.

The role requires a university degree in Agriculture or Biology, strong organizational and planning skills, and advanced English. Driving license is also required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Agriculture, Biology, or related fields preferred.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse management, field trials, or agronomic operations is an advantage.
• Advance English (reading/writing).
• Car driving license.

Responsibilities

• Receive, classify, prepare, label, and dispatch all agronomic samples from IH (FS + Digital Agronomy Iberia).
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures on traceability, packaging, documentation, and shipment.
• Maintain alignment with Field Solutions and Digital Agronomy teams to meet deadlines and quality standards for sample logistics.
• Manage reception and registration of materials and equipment arriving at the IH; maintain warehouse and storage areas in good order and traceability.
• Plan and execute logistical setup for internal and external visits, workshops, training, demonstration days, and stakeholder events at the IH.
• Ensure the Innovation Hub Brenes presents a professional and ready-to-host environment at all times.
• Support scheduling and coordination of field activities executed by the external Adecco team and monitor task execution.
• Manage stock of agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, PPE, crop protection products, irrigation materials, etc.).
• Ensure proper storage, documentation, and safety compliance; ensure availability of materials.
