Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking an IT Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and development teams in Barcelona, Spain. You will elicit, analyze and document requirements, translate them into user stories, and work in agile cross-functional teams.

You will model processes with UML/BPMN, ensure traceability, support build and testing phases, and contribute to test cases and UAT. Fluent English is required; German is a plus; 2-3 years in IT/finance BA roles and a related degree preferred.

Qualifications

• IREB CPRE Foundation Level certification is a plus.
• Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) with Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst in IT/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria and specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers and testers in agile cross-functional teams.
• Model business processes and system behavior using UML, BPMN.
• Validate and prioritize requirements with stakeholders and ensure traceability.
• Support the development team during implementation and clarify questions during sprints.
• Contribute to test case definitions and user acceptance testing.
