COMET Aerospace is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to design, analyze, and ensure the structural integrity of aircraft and spacecraft components. You will perform advanced simulations (FEA), select materials for lightweight designs, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include project management for small teams, customer interfacing, and development of technical documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Structural Analysis.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aeronautical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• Experience in additive manufacturing.
• Experience working with deployable space structures.
• Experience with finite element software, preferably MSC Software suite (Nastran, Patran).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design space and aeronautical structures and components for aircraft and spacecraft.
• Perform advanced simulations such as finite element analysis (FEA).
• Select and optimize materials to achieve lightweight and efficient designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting testing, validation and certification processes.
• Lead small work teams on projects, acting as primary customer interface and managing planning and scheduling.
• Develop technical documentation.
