Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Data Acquisition Systems and Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced data acquisition systems for aerospace applications.

You will act as the technical services architect for platforms hardware and sensor systems, building digital pipelines for data processing and storage, and serving as the primary technical services representative for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data acquisition systems.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies and signal conditioning.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for DAQ.
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN bus, MIL-STD-1553 data protocols.
• Experience in aerospace/defense industry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute and support for the design, development, deployment and integration of data acquisition solutions (hardware and software solutions).
• Specify, document needs for sensors, transducers, and other instrumentation for optimal data collection.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define data acquisition requirements.
• Develop and implement data processing algorithms to ensure data quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DAQ systems, sensors, and data flow.
• Perform system validation and verification to meet technical requirements.
• Generate technical documentation including system specs and test plans.
• Stay abreast of new technologies in data acquisition and signal processing.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users of those systems.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
