Job Description
The Water, Air and Soil (WAS) Technological Unit of Eurecat develops and optimizes technologies and processes to improve the management of water, soil, air, and associated resources. We carry out research, development, and innovation projects with companies across all sectors to enhance their economic, environmental, and social sustainability.
We use advanced modelling and experimental tools at different scales (laboratory, pilot plant, and full scale) to develop and validate new technologies and their applications. We work with a wide range of pollutant treatment technologies to limit their release into the environment, promote resource recovery, and support the transition towards a circular economy.
We design experimental projects and procedures tailored to companies' needs, reducing the inherent risks of R&D&I through a progressive implementation process that covers all stages, from concept development to commissioning.
The expertise of the WAS Unit, combined with the capabilities of Eurecat’s different technological units, enables us to provide solutions to complex and specific challenges across a wide variety of sectors, including water treatment, chemical, agri-food, pharmaceutical, process industries, and capital goods industries.
Eurecat is seeking a professional for the WAS Technological Unit to execute projects and support the preparation of national and international R&D&I proposals within the environmental sector, specifically focused on the treatment of contaminated soils and groundwater.
We offer an opportunity to work in a highly dynamic environment, participating in applied research activities with public and private organizations at different scales (laboratory, pilot plant, and real-world environments) across multiple sectors, including urban, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and mining industries. The main objective is to conduct research and develop innovative projects in the field of hydrogeology to improve the management of soils and groundwater, contributing to the economic, environmental, and social sustainability of businesses and society as a whole.
