The People Foundry in Teruel, Aragón seeks an Advanced Materials & Technologies Specialist to own materials engineering capabilities for high-altitude, long-endurance platforms. You will work with engineering, aerostructures and power teams to identify, evaluate and qualify materials and components that underpin next generation platforms.

This role is hands-on and not just procurement; you will interrogate datasheets, coordinate supplier testing, and help shape design decisions while building a

Formación

• Strong technical grounding in materials science and related engineering fields.
• Experience or familiarity with mechanical or aerospace engineering principles.
• Knowledge of composite materials and their applications in aerospace.
• Exposure to electric propulsion concepts and propulsion components.
• Experience in aerospace, UAV or high‑performance engineering domains.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate new materials, components and technologies.
• Assess datasheets, test results and manufacturer data for reliability.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to verify technical information.
• Coordinate procurement and testing of samples and evaluation lots.
• Work with workshop and electrical teams to assess real‑world performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with specialist suppliers.
• Develop and maintain a robust, technically verified engineering catalogue.
• Provide input into design and engineering decisions.
