Job summary

Sigma Software’s AdTech Unit is seeking a Software Architect to shape scalable, cloud-native architectures for high-load advertising platforms. You will drive technical strategy, lead architecture decisions, and collaborate with Customers and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

You’ll mentor teams, oversee PoCs and customer workshops, and ensure engineering best practices across projects while staying ahead of AI-driven trends in programmatic advertising.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 3+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in at least two of Golang, Rust, Node.js, C++.
• Strong experience designing high‑load, low‑latency distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Solid understanding of microservices, messaging, caching and API design.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.
• Production environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
• Experience in customer-facing technical consulting and pre-sales activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture of scalable AdTech solutions and distributed cloud platforms across multiple initiatives.
• Own architectural decisions and define technical direction aligned with business objectives and long-term product strategy.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture assessments, and solution design activities.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and future-proof technical solutions.
• Drive technical pre-sales activities, including customer presentations, architecture workshops, solution proposals, estimations, and PoCs.
• Showcase Sigma Software’s AdTech expertise to prospective clients and support new business opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer engagements through technology consulting and architecture advisory.
• Establish architectural standards, governance principles, and engineering best practices across projects.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture implementation, scalability, performance optimization, and distributed systems design.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, and recommend innovative approaches.
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams.
