Galderma is establishing a new Global Capability Center in Barcelona and seeks an Accounting & Reporting Manager to lead the financial reporting team. You will own IFRS and Local GAAP reporting, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements while coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams.

The role requires extensive IFRS expertise, leadership experience, and a track record in multinational environments. Hybrid work in Barcelona offers global exposure and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA is a plus.
• Solid understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, close).
• Experience in a multinational environment and/or shared services model, or Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (IFRS16, Deferred Tax, etc.).
• Experience as leader/Manager of a team; more than 10 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and supervise accounting reporting packages to the consolidation team under IFRS within the Global reporting calendar.
• Review and validate local statutory accounts with the support of local accountants.
• Review and reconcile accounts; manage IFRS vs Local GAAP variations.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors during the year.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with IFRS or local GAAP entries.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting and reporting professionals (GL, AR, AP).
