Adler Pelzer Group in Zaragoza is expanding its Finance Shared Service Centre to provide financial support across the EU. We are seeking a General Ledger Accountant at junior or mid-level to join a growing multinational team and contribute to ongoing finance operations.

You will manage general bookings, support month-end close, prepare accruals, handle reconciliations, P&L and balance sheet analysis, and liaise with controllers and auditors.

Formación

• Finished degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years accounting/finance experience for mid-level; junior roles may have none.
• Experience in a large multinational is a plus but not essential.
• SAP knowledge is required or advantageous.
• Intermediate English; fluent Spanish or French.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general bookings and assist with month-end closing.
• Open/close SAP modules; communicate with controllers and plants.
• Prepare month-end accruals (POs, pensions, taxes, payroll).
• Support pensions, tax and deferred tax bookings and reconciliations.
• Manage inter- and intra-company reconciliations.
• Analyze P&L and balance sheet; justify balances.
• Coordinate month-end closing with controllers; liaise with auditors.
• Handle foreign currency revaluations.
• Process payments, bank statements, bookings, and bank reconciliations.

We are currently growing a newly established Finance Shared Service Centre in Zaragoza. This new centre is providing financial support to our operations, suppliers and customers across the EU territory. The offices are located in the Expo area in the city.

General Ledger Accountant (junior or mid-level)

Responsibilities

• Manage general booking
• Support and participate to month end closing operations and support time and schedule
• Open and close modules, communicate to controllers and plants
• Determine and communicate month end accruals for all topics (open P.O, pensions, taxes, payroll...)
• Support Pensions, tax and differed tax booking and reconciliation
• Manage and implement account reconciliations, controls and compliance
• Manage inter- and intra-company reconciliation
• Analyse and justify P&l and BS account balance
• Manage and validate month end closing booking with controllers
• Interface with internal/external auditors
• Manage account revaluation (foreign currency)
• Process payments, bank statements and bookings, bank reconciliation

Skills/Experience Required

• Finished Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar
• Practical experience in accounting and finance administration 1-2 years for mid-level roles; no experience necessary for junior roles
• Experience from a large multinational, ideally automotive or other manufacturing company is a plus, not essential
• SAP knowledge
• Intermediate English
• Fluent Spanish or French
