Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager based in Spain.

As an Account Manager, you will own and grow a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts within the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure ecosystem. You will build trusted relationships with senior executives and technical decision-makers, helping organizations develop, deploy, and scale advanced AI solutions. Working closely with dedicated technical specialists, you will turn customer success into long-term commercial growth. Your focus will extend beyond retention to identifying new opportunities, expanding platform adoption, and negotiating complex, multi-year agreements. You will operate in a remote-first, fast-paced environment where autonomy, innovation, and accountability are highly valued. This is an opportunity to influence product direction, strengthen strategic partnerships, and contribute to the growth of a platform serving a global developer community.

Accountabilities
  • Manage a focused portfolio of fewer than 20 strategic enterprise accounts, taking ownership of customer relationships, retention, and revenue expansion.

  • Establish high-touch engagement with executive stakeholders and technical teams through regular meetings, strategic account planning, and long-term growth initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with dedicated Forward Deployed Engineers to align technical achievements with customer objectives and commercial opportunities.

  • Proactively introduce new platform capabilities, product developments, and innovative use cases to increase customer adoption, usage, and spending.

  • Lead complex renewals and expansion opportunities, negotiating high-value, multi-year contracts, pricing structures, and service-level agreements.

  • Build strong executive relationships and lead strategic business reviews focused on return on investment, roadmap alignment, business outcomes, and future capacity planning.

  • Represent strategic customer needs internally, influencing product development, engineering priorities, and infrastructure planning.

  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and customer health metrics, including net revenue retention (NRR), expansion revenue, churn risk, usage, and customer sentiment.

  • Use CRM tools to track account performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide reliable reporting to leadership.

  • Travel periodically to meet strategic customers and represent the business at relevant industry events.

Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in account management, including a minimum of 2 years managing complex strategic accounts, ideally in AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, cloud computing, emerging cloud providers, or developer tooling.

  • Proven success managing and expanding a concentrated portfolio of large, complex enterprise relationships, preferably involving multi-million-dollar contracts and $50 million or more in account value.

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating multi-year renewals and expansion agreements worth seven to eight figures.

  • Strong technical understanding and executive presence, with the ability to communicate credibly with developers, machine learning engineers, technical leaders, and C-suite decision-makers.

  • A proactive, consultative approach to account management, with a demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, introduce innovative solutions, and drive commercial outcomes beyond day-to-day customer support.

  • Experience working closely with technical teams to translate successful implementations and technical improvements into measurable revenue growth.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across business and technical audiences.

  • Strong understanding of account performance metrics, including NRR, expansion revenue, churn, and product usage, combined with disciplined CRM management and accurate forecasting. Experience with HubSpot is an advantage.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment where processes and strategies are continuously developed. Experience building account management processes or playbooks from the ground up is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings and industry events.

  • Successful completion of a background check.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: Target on-target earnings (OTE) of $160,000-$280,000 USD, converted to local currency, combining base salary and commission. The final package will depend on experience, qualifications, location, and role level.

  • Uncapped commission: Earn beyond your target OTE through successful account expansion and revenue growth.

  • Equity participation: Stock options that allow you to share in the long-term growth and success of the business.

  • Healthcare coverage: Generous medical, dental, and vision plans.

  • Flexible paid time off: Take the time you need to rest, recharge, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Remote-first environment: Enjoy flexibility in where you work, supported by an inclusive and collaborative team culture.

  • Home office support: A $1,200 stipend for home office equipment to help you create a productive workspace.

  • Professional growth: Work at the forefront of AI infrastructure alongside a passionate team that values innovation, continuous learning, ownership, and meaningful impact.
