Strike Group is seeking an Apprentice Pipefitter to join our on-site team at the Cenovus Christina Lake North plant. You will assist journeypipefitters with installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems and related equipment, while adhering to safety standards and site procedures.

The role requires being a registered 2nd year apprentice, holding H2S Alive and CSTS tickets, and the ability to work outdoors. Camp accommodations and travel allowances are provided as part of the rotation.

Formación

• Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.).
• Assist journeyperson pipefitters with installation of equipment, pipe, and structural steel on site.
• Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging.
• Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape.
• Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems.
