Job summary

Amazon Maintenance Operation Centre is seeking an Escalation Specialist to monitor and respond to alarms, dispatch local vendors, and assist site personnel with troubleshooting. This role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and ownership of each case.

Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced, on-call environment, coordinating with Reliability Maintenance Engineering, Ops, and H&S teams. Fluency in English and prior data center or facilities experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (read, write and speak).
• Experience in a 24/7 environment.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly, verbally and in writing.
• Experience in operations and on-call support for data center/facilities environments or with contact routing/VoIP tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and triage incoming work requests within SLAs.
• Manage remote works from start to end, including work order/purchase order handling.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders (Reliability Maintenance Engineering, Ops, H&S).
• Provide updates on vendor status and coordinate escalations.
• Identify critical issues and escalate to maintain equipment reliability.
• Monitor refrigeration alarm systems and respond to critical alerts.
• Prioritize work queues based on urgency and SLA requirements.
