Particular consideration will be given to candidates’ academic records and other curricular merits, as well as their relevance for the specific duties based on training and professional experience. Consideration will be given to participation in university lecturing, as well as the relevance and impact of research stays at national and international centres.
Candidates will be assessed on their suitability for the research programme, project or activities, based on their training and previous experience.
Scale:
Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non-EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. The equivalence can be requested from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of Spain.
In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT 14540 of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.
In accordance with Article 19.c) in Act 17/2022 of 5th September that amends Act 14/2011 of 1st June on Science, Technology and Innovation, the work of pre-doctoral research staff in training shall be assessed by the Academic Committee for the PhD Programme on an annual basis or, where applicable, the Doctoral School, for the duration they are enrolled on the programme. The contract may be terminated where they fail this assessment.
