Job summary

Interwell in Esbjerg is seeking a Workshop Technician for a temporary role. You will work hands-on with advanced downhole mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment used in drilling and intervention operations across Europe.

Responsibilities include disassembling, inspecting, redressing, and preparing tools for deployment, testing and documenting work, and managing inbound/outbound logistics with strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Technical college completed.
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and servicing on advanced mechanical and electronic well intervention equipment
  • Conduct functional and pressure testing of existing tools and new product developments
  • Prepare equipment for deployment in accordance with technical and operational requirements
  • Execute and close work orders accurately and on time
  • Receive and inspect returned equipment, verifying Delivery Logistics Notes (DLNs), serial numbers, and checking for damages
  • Pack toolboxes securely in line with Interwell standards and international transport regulations
  • Manage outbound dispatches and ensure timely, accurate delivery to local and international job sites
  • Receive, log, and inspect inbound equipment from the field for maintenance, storage, or redeployment
  • A temporary position in an international and technology driven company

As a Workshop Technician in our Esbjerg facility, you will be a vital part of that mission.
We are currently looking for a Workshop Technician for a temporary position at our Esbjerg facility.
In this role, you will work hands-on with advanced downhole technology- mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical—used in challenging drilling, completion, and intervention operations across Central Europe.
From large-scale tools for reservoir isolation to precision through-tubing systems, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, redressing, and preparing equipment for both routine and urgent deployments.
Our tools are critical to securing wells in all stages of their lifecycle. You will ensure they leave the workshop in optimal condition; Fully tested, documented, and ready for the field.
Whether it is a well-planned operation or a fast-track response, your craftsmanship and attention to detail will make the difference.
You will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and logistical handling of a wide range of high-tech downhole equipment, supporting field operations across Europe and abroad.
