Job summary

CORI Hornbæk Hotel seeks a Wellness Host to sustain an immaculate spa environment and provide warm, attentive guest experiences. The role covers daily operations, guest guidance, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in our wellness spaces.

Qualified candidates may also offer freelance Personal Training or Reformer Pilates sessions, with potential to support group classes as CORI expands its wellness offerings. Part-time shifts available, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury spa, wellness centre, hotel, or guest-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Warm, professional communication with guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ideally with recognised qualification in Personal Training and/or Reformer Pilates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across spa and wellness areas.
• Prepare facilities for treatments and guest use (towels, robes, amenities).
• Monitor spa equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Welcome guests warmly and advise on facilities, treatments, and wellness experiences.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Support daily spa operations and events/wellness programmes.
• Monitor facilities to maintain a safe, tranquil environment.
• Oversee spa supplies and replenishment needs.
• Deliver bookable one-to-one Personal Training or Reformer Pilates sessions on a freelance basis (if qualified).
• Potentially support group movement classes and other wellness programming.

Our spa and wellness experience is designed as a tranquil space for restoration, movement, and meaningful care. We are looking for a Wellness Host who will help us maintain an impeccable environment and create a warm, attentive experience for every guest.

For qualified candidates, the role also offers the opportunity to deliver private movement sessions, such as Personal Training and Reformer Pilates, on a freelance basis, with the potential to support group classes and other wellness programming as our offering develops.

About the role

As a Wellness Host, you play a key role in the daily operation, presentation, and atmosphere of our spa and wellness areas. You ensure that changing rooms, saunas, pools, treatment rooms, and relaxation spaces are clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our guests at all times.

You combine high standards and attention to detail with a calm, professional presence. Working closely with the Wellbeing Manager and the wider spa team, you help create a seamless experience in which guests feel genuinely cared for.

Your key responsibilities

You will contribute to an exceptional wellness experience by:

• Maintaining excellent cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout all spa and wellness areas
• Preparing facilities for treatments and guest use, including replenishing towels, robes, and amenities
• Monitoring spa equipment and promptly reporting maintenance or operational needs
• Welcoming guests warmly and offering guidance on facilities, treatments, and wellness experiences
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Supporting daily spa operations and the setup of special events and wellness programmes
• Monitoring the facilities to help maintain a safe, respectful, and tranquil environment
• Maintaining an overview of spa supplies and reporting replenishment needs
• For appropriately qualified candidates, delivering bookable one-to-one Personal Training or Reformer Pilates sessions on a freelance basis
• Potentially supporting group movement classes and other wellness programming as CORI’s offering develops

You bring

You understand that true luxury is created through care, consistency, and the way every detail makes a guest feel.

You are likely to:

• Have experience from a luxury spa, wellness centre, hotel, or another guest-focused environment
• Bring strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Communicate warmly and professionally with guests and colleagues
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
• Have knowledge of spa hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Show professionalism, discretion, adaptability, and effective time management
• Be flexible and available for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ideally hold a recognised qualification in Personal Training and/or Reformer Pilates; movement instructors must demonstrate safe practice, alignment, and injury prevention
