Job summary

Energinet is seeking a highly skilled cyber security professional to join the Attack Surface Management team within the Group Cyber and Information Security unit. You will translate complex security requirements into actionable business terms and guide decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will lead vulnerability management initiatives, develop scalable assessment processes, and ensure accurate asset discovery and visibility across IT, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Solid cyber security knowledge with emphasis on vulnerability management.
• Strong communication to translate complex security concepts for business
• Fluent in English; Danish proficiency is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise vulnerability management across IT, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Build and optimize vulnerability scanning infrastructure, configurations, policies, and workflows.
• Develop scalable vulnerability assessment processes for infrastructure, endpoints, servers, apps, cloud workloads, containers, and identities.
• Ensure asset discovery, coverage validation, and vulnerability visibility enterprise-wide.
• Manage vulnerability lifecycle from detection to remediation and closure.
• Establish metrics to measure remediation effectiveness and risk reduction.
• Analyze attack paths and weaknesses to reduce organizational risk.
• Prioritize exposures based on exploitability, business criticality, threat intel, and impact.
• Support continuous assessment of security posture through exposure analytics and attack surface monitoring.
• Serve as technical owner for vulnerability and exposure management platforms.
