Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk in Denmark is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of digital infrastructure and connectivity solutions for the fleet.

You will work at the intersection of maritime operations, technology, automation, and project delivery to enable safer, smarter, and more sustainable operations. You will coordinate initiatives from proof-of-concept to large-scale deployment, collaborating with vessel owners, onboard crews, vendors, shipyards, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, telecommunications, marine engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing technical projects, programs, or product implementations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of electrical systems, automation systems, telecommunications, vessel systems, or industrial infrastructure.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on team success and value creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple vessel technology implementation projects from initiation through deployment.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate activities across vessel owners, technical managers, vendors, shipyards, and internal stakeholders.
• Translate operational and business requirements into clear technical scopes and implementation plans.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices and ensure they are incorporated into future deployments.
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap for vessel digital infrastructure and connectivity enablement.
