Zurich Nordic in Copenhagen is looking for an Underwriter Property to join our team in a hybrid office. You will own your portfolio, perform risk selection, pricing, and coverage quotations, and negotiate contracts with corporate customers to support growth in the Danish market.

Qualificações

• Experience with corporate property insurance, gained through roles in the insurance industry (e.g. insurer, insurance broker or corporate risk), with a willingness to further develop technical expertise.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, risk management, economics or equivalent field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Danish.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Underwriting Property team, working from our hybrid office in Copenhagen.

As an underwriter, you will build up and be responsible for your own portfolio of contracts and corporate customers with assignments such as risk selection, pricing, coverage quotations, contract negotiations and measuring exposure and analyzing risk. You will underwrite new and renewal business and will build relationships in support of customer/business acquisition and retention. You will also proactively contribute ideas and work for the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights. A strong candidate will also be expected to proactively identify and develop new business opportunities, demonstrating a strategic mindset and a drive to contribute to Zurich’s growth in the market.

As a person, you are a team player and an analytical thinker. You are data driven and have a strong business and customer focus as well as interest in customer relationships and negotiation. You are fast moving and flexible. You like working independently but with good abilities to co-operate with both customers and colleagues .
