The Role

For candidates based in Mexico!

As a Station Coordinator, you will be part of our Ingest team and play an important role in managing information received from broadcasters and content owners, primarily across the US market. You will monitor incoming requests, make sure information is correctly understood and processed, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the right internal teams to keep our workflows running smoothly.

The role combines data operations, technical problem-solving, and external communication. You will work closely with our ingest and technical teams, as well as broadcasters and content owners, while learning and working with Simply.TV's internal systems and workflows.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, has excellent English and written communication skills, is interested in technology, and enjoys solving problems and learning new systems.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and process a high volume of incoming emails from US broadcasters and content owners, ensuring information is correctly understood and handled.
  • Review and validate channel-related information, including channel launches, changes, rebranding, and channels ceasing operations.
  • Process incoming information through internal systems and established workflows, ensuring data is accurately recorded and routed to the appropriate teams.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot data or workflow issues independently, escalating to the relevant technical teams when required.
  • Track incoming requests, changes, and follow-ups to maintain clear visibility across workflows and ensure nothing is missed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners, providing structured questions, updates, and findings.
  • Use internal ticketing and workflow systems to assign and coordinate tasks with the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and historical records of changes and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with ingest, technical, editorial, schedule, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of broadcaster information.
  • Build and maintain effective communication with external partners to support data accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
  • Have excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Have a strong interest in technology and enthusiasm for learning new systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Can write structured, formal emails and communicate information clearly and concisely.
  • Are highly organized, diligent, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple requests and follow-ups.
  • Can investigate problems independently, identify potential causes, and determine the appropriate next steps.
  • Are comfortable following established workflows and pipelines while keeping accurate documentation.
  • Can structure and synthesize information and communicate findings effectively to colleagues and managers.
  • Are comfortable working with a high volume of incoming information while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Are able to work independently while knowing when to involve or elevate to the appropriate team.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in data operations, technical support, coordination, content operations, or a similar role.
  • Experience communicating with external partners, customers, vendors, or other stakeholders.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, CSV, or other structured data formats.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems, data management tools, or internal business systems.
  • Previous experience in media, TV, streaming, broadcasting, or OTT.
  • Knowledge of the US, Canadian, or Mexican TV and streaming landscape.
  • Spanish or French language skills.
  • Experience working in a B2B environment is a plus.
What we offer
  • The opportunity to work in a growing international company at the intersection of technology, data, and media.
  • Exposure to broadcasters and content owners across the North American market.
  • The opportunity to develop technical, data operations, and external communication skills.
  • A role where you can learn proprietary systems and workflows and gradually take ownership of your work.
  • Potential opportunities to grow within Ingest, Technical Account Management, Sales Support, or other areas of the business as opportunities arise.

  • Employment Type: FTE
