Job summary

AlSaree AutoTechnics in Odense, Denmark is seeking a skilled Turner or Metal Machinist to operate lathes, grinders and drills, read blueprints, and produce precision metal parts to spec. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in operating manual or computer-controlled metalworking machines.
• Excellent knowledge of metal properties, cutting tools, speeds, feeds and machining variables.
• Strong math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances.

Job description

We are currently hiring for a skilled Turner or Metal Machinist to join our growing team in Odense As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machines such as lathes grinders and drills to shape and cut metal parts according to specifications This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
• Set up and operate manual or computer-controlled metalworking machines
• Use precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to measure and inspect finished parts
• Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure accurate results
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Skilled in operating manual or computer-controlled metalworking machines
• Excellent knowledge of metal properties cutting tools speeds feeds and other machining variables
• Strong math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certification or diploma in Machining or a related field
• Experience with CNC machines is an asset
• Familiarity with Siemens Sinumerik controls is a plus

Salary We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position In addition we provide accommodation for the right candidate
