Job summary

The Institute of Molecular Medicine at SDU in Odense invites applications for a full-time academic technician (37 hours/week) for 1 year, starting 01.01.2027. The role focuses on microsurgery and inflammatory bowel disease models in a translational research setting.

You will execute chronic DSS mouse models, support researchers with microsurgery on diseased animals, organize the surgical team and endpoints analysis, while working in Danish and English.

Qualifications

• Master degree in a relevant field.
• Documented microsurgical experience.
• Extensive animal experiment experience with relevant licenses to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Executing chronic DSS mouse-model of inflammatory bowel disease.
• Supporting researchers in performing microsurgery on diseased animals.
• Organizing the surgical team.
