Vestas Technology & Operations in Aarhus is seeking a Specialist to own NAC Manufacturing training frameworks and to design role-based programs that translate global standards into factory-ready materials. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Solid experience in manufacturing training, technical training, or workforce development.
  • Experience designing structured training programs and competency frameworks.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process improvements, or NPI.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and digital skills incl. training data reporting.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nacelle PE Training department is responsible for the governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of NAC manufacturing training frameworks, competency models, qualification standards, and effectiveness measurement, ensuring workforce capability readiness and compliance with manufacturing and business requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously improve NAC Manufacturing training frameworks, competency models, qualification standards, and certification processes
  • Design and maintain role-based training programs, including learning paths, training content, assessment criteria, and certification requirements
  • Translate global manufacturing standards, product changes, and process requirements into factory-ready training materials and documentation
  • Train, certify, and coach factory trainers to ensure consistent and effective deployment of training programs across manufacturing sites
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ramp-up activities by ensuring training readiness, competence coverage, and workforce capability
  • Drive continuous improvement of training programs through quality findings, factory feedback, audit results, and operational performance data
  • Monitor training compliance, certifications, and competency development through LMS/MySkills while supporting governance, reporting, and audit activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Learning & Development, HR, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered
  • Solid experience within manufacturing training, technical training, workforce development, or related discipline
  • Experience designing and implementing structured training programs and competency frameworks
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations, process improvements, or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
  • Solid analytical and digital skills, including experience with learning management systems and training data reporting
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Competencies
  • Training programme design: Ability to define training programmes (modules, duration, criteria), structured role-based training aligned with process and verify effectiveness
  • Training standard: Ability to maintain NAC manufacturing training standards, competency levels, methodologies, and certification models aligned with Manufacturing Excellence
  • Train the trainer and factory capability: Ability to train, certify, and coach factory trainers, validate training flow execution, and ensure factories can deploy training independently and consistently
  • NPI training readiness: Ability to validate training readiness during NPI, ensuring correct content, competence coverage, and factory preparedness for ramp-up and handover
  • Quality-and-CI- driven training improvement: Ability to train, certify, and coach factory trainers, validate training flow execution, and ensure factories can deploy training consistently on their own
  • Training tracking, KPIs, and systems usage: Ability to ensure accurate tracking of training execution, qualifications, and competence levels through LMS / MySkills, supporting audits, KPIs, and governance defined by Manufacturing Excellence
