Job summary

JYSK is seeking a Test Engineer to join our IT team in Aarhus. You will take ownership of the team’s testing approaches, applying structured methodologies to ensure quality as part of our agile development cycle.

You will design tests, execute cases, and provide stakeholders with clear quality insights, while coaching colleagues on best practices and contributing to a shift-left quality journey.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing and QA.
• Ability to define and apply test strategies in agile teams.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong communication in Danish.
• Ability to coach others on testing and QA.

Responsibilities

• Safeguarding and developing the overall test strategy within the agile team.
• Creating test designs as an integrated part of the software development lifecycle.
• Specifying logical and physical test cases based on structured test analysis.
• Executing test cases and maintaining relevant testware.
• Identifying quality risks and providing stakeholders with clear quality insights.
• Working with developers and other team members to strengthen shift-left testing and quality practices.
• Coaching team members and stakeholders on software testing and quality assurance.
