Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a Test Consultant to join our team in Denmark. You will test large and complex software projects that digitalise and strengthen Danish society, typically working on-site with clients and serving as the bridge between business needs and our technical solutions.

You will continually develop testing and technical skills, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies and tools, while growing within Netcompany Academy and through mentorship and structured career

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant master’s degree.

Do you want to immerse yourself in testing and quality assurance of large and complex software projects that help digitalise and strengthen Denmark? Are you systematic, with a keen eye for detail? Then you might be the person we are looking for as our new Test Consultant.

Responsibilities and technologies

Testing and quality assurance are a crucial part of the IT solutions we develop together with our clients. As a Test Consultant, you will help test business-critical IT systems that have an impact not only on our public-sector and private-sector clients, but on people across Danish society.

You will always be part of a project team from Netcompany, typically working together on-site with the client. In this role, you will act as the link between the client, their business needs, and our technical solution.

You will continuously develop your testing and technical skills. Throughout your projects, you will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of the latest technologies and tools.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the quality of the solution through various types of testing
• Analysing the functional aspects of the solution
• Preparing test plans and designing and writing test cases
• Executing functional and non-functional tests
• Contributing to troubleshooting and test reporting

About you

You can work methodically and connect business and IT-related challenges, explaining business needs to developers and technical aspects to clients. In addition, we imagine that you:

• Can navigate complex error scenarios and understand complex system landscapes
• Are systematic and detail-oriented throughout the analysis, design, development, and testing phases
• Think logically and analytically, and can break down and understand complex concepts and communicate issues and gaps clearly and effectively
• Thrive on a methodical and structured approach to your work
• Hold a relevant master’s degree
