Job summary

Normark Defence in Odense is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-disciplinary development projects from concept to delivery, coordinating hardware, electronics and software teams. You will work with engineers, leadership, customers and authorities to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.

Based in Odense, you will drive risk management, ensure quality, documentation and security compliance, and balance ambitious technological goals with practical delivery milestones.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Normark Defence, development projects are rarely confined to a single discipline. Hardware, electronics and software must work together, often under tight deadlines and in relation to a razor-sharp use case.

The technologies we work with span widely: lasers, seismic sensors, nuclear technologies, foldable structures, counter-drone systems and much more.That is why we are looking for a project manager who can do more than manage a schedule.

You will lead cross-disciplinary development projects from concept to delivery, working closely with engineers, developers, Executive Leadership, customers and public authorities. The position is based in Odense.

You will be part of a team with our Technology Scouts and Business Development, working together to turn promising new technologies and opportunities into successful development projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead cross-disciplinary development projects across mechanics, electronics, software and production, from concept to delivery.
• Ensure progress, resource planning and compliance with requirements for quality, documentation and security.

Technical Dialogue

• Engage in genuine technical dialogue with engineers and developers, and challenge technical solutions when necessary.
• Work across a wide range of technology readiness levels (TRL), from very early concepts to mature solutions.
• Identify, assess and manage technical risks on an ongoing basis.
• Manage requirements throughout the project so that what is delivered matches the use case and the customer's needs.

Communication & Decision Support

• Translate technical complexity into clear decision material for management, customers and public authorities.
• Keep stakeholders informed and aligned on progress, risks and priorities.

ABOUT YOU

• You are interested in both technology and people, and you are comfortable working at TRL levels ranging from very low to high.
• Experience with technical project management of product development, ideally in a technology-heavy or regulated industry.
• An engineering or equivalent technical background, so you understand how hardware, electronics and software work together.
• The ability to drive a project forward, not just administer it.
• Experience with risk management and requirements management.
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both spoken and

REQUIREMENTS

• Eligible to obtain the required security clearances (e.g. Danish Secret and NATO SECRET).
