Lead fast-paced Fast Track projects with clear direction, structured execution, and the ability to create a positive path through complex challenges.
We see a growing need to deliver an increasing number of customer-specific projects that require focused R&D effort and strong coordination across the organization. These projects are important to both our customers and to Weibel, and we are looking for an additional experienced Technical Project Manager who can create clear goals, establish efficient ways of working, and keep projects moving with high cadence from start to finish.

Our projects are highly cross-functional and involve development across microwave technology, electronics, PCB layout, mechanics, application software, and embedded software. You will work closely with colleagues across R&D, production, sales, and other parts of the company to turn customer needs into well-executed technical solutions.

About the position

We are looking for a candidate who combines strong ownership and decision-making with analytical discipline. You are expected to drive several smaller and medium-sized projects in parallel keeping momentum when priorities compete, and helping the team find constructive solutions when technical, commercial, or operational challenges arise.

The primary tasks

• Help create an optimum organization, setup and processes to ensure efficiency and high cadence
• Plan and follow-up on all hardware, electrical, and mechanics activities on the projects
• Create alignment and followership by communicating objectives, priorities, and progress clearly to all stakeholders
• Define, implement, and continuously improve the ways of working that enable each project to move efficiently from initiation to delivery
• Reporting of status, progress, cost, quality, and risk

As our new Technical Project Manager, you will be referring to VP R&D.

As the ideal candidate you have

• A strong personal drive and motivation — you take ownership, make things happen, and drive progress even when priorities are unclear or challenges arise
• A goal-oriented and structured mindset — you translate strategy into clear milestones, use facts to clarify priorities, and communicate what success looks like
• A technical/engineering background and the ability to build strong collaboration across disciplines
• 3+ years of experience running technical projects with a leadership style that creates trust, alignment, followership, and clear momentum across disciplines
• Strong communication skills enabling you to explain complex topics and keep everyone focused on the ‘why’ and the end goal

It would be an advantage if you have

• Experience with driving Agile development processes, like Scrum and Essential SAFe
• Knowledge of project methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI
• Experience driving AI-supported efficiency initiatives into an organization
