Job summary

SII Group Switzerland is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead infrastructure carve-outs and data center migration initiatives in Denmark and Norway. The role requires deep IT infrastructure expertise, strong project leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

The successful candidate will ensure regulatory and security compliance while coordinating with government representatives and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and technical project management.
• Proven experience leading data center migrations, infrastructure carve-outs, or major IT outsourcing transitions.
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure: networking, virtualization, storage, databases, and containerization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute detailed migration plans.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and external suppliers.
• Experience with government projects or regulated environments is valued.
• Knowledge of HSM/PKI and Solaris is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure carve-out and data center migration projects across Denmark and Norway.
• Develop and execute detailed technical project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, risk management, and cutover activities.
• Coordinate technical teams, infrastructure architects, application teams, and external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee technical assessments, infrastructure discovery, migration testing, cutover planning, and rollback procedures.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, dependencies, and project risks while ensuring business continuity.
• Manage key stakeholders, including senior management, external suppliers, and Danish government representatives.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute detailed technical migration plans.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing external suppliers and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Experience with critical infrastructure, government projects, or regulated environments is highly valued.
• Knowledge of HSM/PKI, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and Solaris is considered a plus.
