Systematic is hiring a Technical Product Manager in Aarhus. You will lead the technical direction of interoperability standards, working closely with the Defence Product Management team to ensure product alignment and success.
Ideal candidates will have around 5 years of experience in product management, a master's degree, and exceptional English communication skills. Benefits include a vibrant work culture, healthy meals, and various on-site perks.
What does it take to make allied defence systems talk to each other across borders, platforms and coalitions? At Systematic, we hold a market-leading position, providing a foundation that makes that possible through the interoperability standards that keep C4ISR systems connected. If you want to help us maintain and expand that position, you might be the next Technical Product Manager we are looking for to join Systematic’s Defence division.
Systematic is strengthening its strategic investment in interoperability standards, and we are now adding dedicated product management capacity to drive the technical direction of these standards forward. As Technical Product Manager, you will report to the Director of Product Management and be part of both the established Defence Product Management team and the IRIS business owner team. You will have a functional reference to the IRIS Business Product Manager, working in close alignment to ensure coherent product direction – with the Business Product Manager having responsibility for and taking the lead on commercial and business aspects, while you will have responsibility for and take the lead on the technical side.
In short, you can look forward to:
You will be joining a product management team of around 20 people within Systematic’s Defence division, working at the heart of our IRIS product. IRIS is one of our most integrated products, embedded across the suite and a critical component of our broader defence offering.
Your closest collaborator will be the IRIS Business Product Manager, with a clear division of ownership between the commercial and technical sides. The team has a strong culture of inclusion and cross-functional engagement, bringing in Sales, Services and other product managers early and often.
Because IRIS connects with the rest of the SitaWare product suite, internal stakeholder management is a meaningful part of the role – keeping other product managers informed and aligned sits alongside the technical product work itself.
Ideally, you will have a self-motivated mindset, with the ambition and professional commitment to drive Systematic's interoperability products to continued market success.
We are also looking for:
This position will require some worldwide travel to customer and non-customer sites - approximately 10-20 days per year.
You must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years, as we work with security-classified projects.
At our Aarhus office, you can look forward to joining our Employees Club, which offers around 100 events a year, both social and professional. Here, you can take advantage of a range of on-site perks from physiotherapist-led massages and an in-house hairdresser to sports clubs, game tables and even our own padel court. Our canteen is a standout feature, serving a daily selection of delicious and healthy dishes. Beyond the office, you will also enjoy benefits like free ARoS +1 access and a variety of shopping discounts.
