Job summary

DTU Management invites applications for a senior technical manager to lead the Observatory for Technological Questions in Society (ECHOlab). The role focuses on building and maintaining the technical infrastructure for continuous controversy mapping and visualization for national debates on technology.

You will collaborate with researchers, coordinate with the central communications department, and shape a two-year development project in alignment with DTU's strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams in computational social science or digital methods labs.
• Experience supporting interdisciplinary research collaborations with an STS component.
• Expertise in NLP/LLMs, data visualization, and open-source tool development.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead technical operations in the observatory.
• Coordinate work with the central communications department on strategic development project.
• Develop and maintain technical infrastructure for continuous analysis and visualization of societal debate about technology.
