Job summary

Festina Finance is seeking a Tech Lead for the Customer implementation team to guide architectural decisions and hands-on delivery of the Advisor platform for bank and pension customers across Europe. You will bridge deep domain logic with solid engineering practices, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that meet complex customer needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in delivering complex systems or large-scale platforms.

Festina Finance develops modern, high‑performance software used by banks and financial institutions across Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK. Our Advisor platform is a 360° financial advisory solution that helps bank and pension advisors guide customers through credit, mortgage, pension, wealth, and investment decisions.

Advisor is designed to be country-agnostic and is already live in Denmark, with active expansion into EU and the UK. We are now looking for an experienced Tech Lead who thrives in the space between deep domain logic, solid engineering practices, and architectural thinking and who wants to bring the platform to life for our customers.

As Tech Lead, you will be a key contributor to the technical quality and success of Advisor implementations for our bank and pension customers. You will translate our architectural principles into practical, high-quality solutions tailored to each customer's needs, and act as a technical sparring partner for the developers in your implementation team.

What You Will Work On

About the Role

You will join a cross-functional customer implementation team of developers, business analysts, and domain experts, responsible for delivering and configuring the Advisor platform for a specific bank or pension customer. The role is hands‑on, but with room to influence technical decisions within your team and feed learnings back to the core platform.

You will operate in the space between development and architecture: not as an architect, but as a Tech Lead who understands system behaviour, navigates complexity, and helps your implementation team make strong technical choices applying our architectural direction to real customer deliveries.

What You Bring

• Solid experience as a senior software developer and/or Tech Lead, typically 8+ years working with complex systems or large‑scale platforms
• A strong technical foundation in backend development, system design, and modern architectural principles and the ability to apply them pragmatically
• A strong foundation in working with AI tools and a genuine enjoyment of doing so, with the ambition to design and build orchestrated agent workflows that elevate how the team delivers
• Experience working with domain‑rich systems, ideally within banking, credit, pension, insurance, or similar financial areas
• The ability to navigate complex requirements and translate them into clear, scalable, and maintainable solutions
• Curiosity and a willingness to explore new domains, technologies, and better ways of solving problems
• Strong collaboration skills. You enjoy working closely with developers, analysts, and domain experts, and you contribute actively to technical discussions
• Confidence to challenge assumptions and raise questions when something doesn’t add up
• A product mindset: you care about the why behind what you build, not just the how
