Drees & Sommer Nordic is seeking an experienced Technical Advisor for due diligence and building consultancy. You will lead technical due diligence, coordinate multidisciplinary reviews, and conduct site inspections across a varied portfolio of buildings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in Technical Due Diligence, Technical Advisory, Building Consultancy or Real Estate Advisory.
• Hands-on experience conducting site inspections and assessing existing buildings and technical installations.
• Strong knowledge of Danish building regulations and contractual frameworks, including ABT18.
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of consultancy business, project economics and client expectations.
• Fluent Danish and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own Technical Due Diligence assessments with multidisciplinary reviews and site inspections across diverse building types.
• Act as technical lead and advisor, guiding clients on technical risks, building performance, lifecycle considerations, maintenance, and investments.
• Provide expertise in building systems, including HVAC and fire safety.
• Prepare, present and defend technical findings and recommendations clearly for clients.
• Build long-term client relationships and opportunities to expand into broader project management and owner representation.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities, proposals and tenders.
• Contribute to delivery of projects with knowledge sharing and mentoring.

• Lead and take ownership of Technical Due Diligence assessments, coordinating multidisciplinary reviews and conducting site inspections across a diverse portfolio of building types and asset classes
• Act as the technical lead and trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on technical risks, building performance, lifecycle considerations, maintenance requirements, and investment decisions
• Provide expertise within building systems, including HVAC, fire safety and related technical disciplines
• Prepare, present and defend technical findings and recommendations in a clear, strategic and client-oriented manner
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the building lifecycle, with opportunities to expand into broader project management, client advisory, and owner representation roles
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposals and tenders, expanding client networks, and fostering lasting partnerships
• Ensure successful and commercially sustainable project delivery while sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the continued development of the technical advisory services
