Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Junior Project Manager in Copenhagen to support and manage technology projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, quality, and governance. You will coordinate technical and business teams, and liaise with stakeholders to maintain project controls.

The role requires 2–4 years of IT project delivery experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant project management or project coordination experience
• Good understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle
• Experience managing schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Good customer-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to prepare clear project status reports and management updates
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and track project plans covering activities, milestones, dependencies, resources, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams to achieve agreed project objectives
• Track project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies
• Conduct regular project meetings and document decisions and actions
• Prepare and distribute weekly project status reports to internal and customer stakeholders
• Identify risks and issues early, define mitigation actions, and elevate as needed
• Monitor milestones and ensure timely delivery of outputs
• Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, milestone plans, and governance artefacts
• Coordinate with technical leads to confirm ownership of deliverables and dependencies
• Support financial tracking including project effort, budgets, and milestones
• Manage scope changes through change-control process
• Ensure activities comply with delivery frameworks and governance
• Maintain proactive communication about progress and decisions
• Support project closure, handover, and lessons learned
