Job summary

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) seeks a dedicated Team Leader for the Research Support Office (RSO). You will lead 14 Research Advisers, shaping the team’s development and working closely with CBS leadership to translate strategic priorities into concrete initiatives that strengthen research funding and research environments across the university.

As a member of the leadership team for Research and PhD Support, you will drive collaboration with researchers, departments and research leadership,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading specialists in a knowledge-intensive environment.
• Strong understanding of research funding, pre-award, and development processes.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives for a team.
• Experience working across CBS or similar research institutions to support researchers and research environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 14 Research Advisers, including performance and well-being responsibilities.
• Set clear priorities, allocate resources, and delegate effectively.
• Provide strong leadership while enabling autonomy and expertise within the team.
• Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development across RSO.
• Ensure coherent, high-quality research support for CBS researchers and environments.
• Collaborate with Head of Office and PhD Support leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
• Translate CBS priorities into concrete actions and initiatives within RSO.
• Build strong relationships with researchers and CBS leadership to strengthen collaboration.
