Job summary

Copenhagen Business School Research Support Office (RSO) is seeking a Team Leader to guide 14 Research Advisers, translate CBS priorities into actionable initiatives and strengthen support for researchers pursuing external funding.

You will lead with empathy and clarity, balance people development with operational leadership, and build collaboration across CBS to improve research environments and influence the university’s strategic research agenda.

Qualifications

• Solid people leadership experience.
• Experience leading highly specialised professionals with autonomy.
• Ability to combine leadership with operational management and strategic development.
• Good understanding of universities or research sector conditions.
• Knowledge of research funding, research development and pre-award processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead 14 Research Advisers, with responsibility for development, performance and wellbeing.
• Set clear team priorities, allocate resources and delegate.
• Provide strong professional and operational leadership without needing to be the expert on everything.
• Create conditions for knowledge sharing, collaboration and professional development across RSO.
• Ensure RSO delivers high-quality, coherent and relevant support to researchers and research environments.
• Collaborate with Head of Office and PhD Support leadership to strengthen CBS-wide leadership.
