Job summary

NORMAL A/S in Denmark is seeking a Quality Team Leader for our warehouse in Hedensted to lead the Quality Team across day and evening shifts and drive continuous improvement. You will set direction, develop staff, improve processes, and ensure clear communication between shifts.

You should have leadership experience in warehousing or logistics, strong people skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders. English fluency is required; ERP/WMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in warehousing or logistics.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Able to coordinate across day and evening shifts.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP is advantageous.

About the Role

As Quality Team Leader, you will lead and support the Quality Team across both day and evening shifts. Your leadership skills, ability to motivate others, and focus on continuous improvement will be key to your success.

You will set a clear direction for the team, develop employees, improve processes, and ensure smooth communication between shifts and departments. You will also work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization to maintain and improve the quality standards delivered to our stores and warehouse.

Experience from logistics or warehousing is an advantage, but it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead, communicate clearly, and bring out the best in people.

Your responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop the Quality Team.
• Motivate and develop employees through clear communication, coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
• Plan daily operations and coordinate staffing and schedules.
• Recruiting the right talent and build a strong team.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical, effective solutions.
• Ensure a smooth transition and strong communication between day and evening shift.
• Collaborate with warehouse departments to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
• Maintain an ongoing dialogue with internal and external stakeholders about quality standards we deliver to our stores and improvement opportunities.
• Follow up on quality performance, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Lead by example and step in to support the team when needed.
• Report to the Planning & Quality Manager.

• Have experience leading a team, preferably within warehousing or logistics.
• Communicate confidently in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Are flexible and able to support the team across both day and evening shifts.
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience working with a Warehouse Management System or similar tools.
• Have experience working with ERP-systems.
• Are familiar with SQL or other database structures.

Location and working hours

• Location: NORMAL’s warehouse in Hedensted
• Employment: Full-time, 37 hours per week
• Working hours: A balanced schedule supporting both:
  • Day shift: 07:00–15:00
  • Evening shift: 15:00–23:00
