Job summary

DTU Bioengineering seeks a Research Manager to drive systems immunology projects, mentor PhD students and postdocs, and partner with the group leader on strategy, publications and funding. You will bridge scientific aims with day-to-day operations, coordinating external projects and ensuring a compliant, efficient research environment.

You will play a central role in translating strategic priorities into concrete progress, working closely with the group leader and staff to safeguard GDPR/data

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent research experience in immunology, systems biology, biotechnology or related field.
Experience coordinating research projects and mentoring junior researchers.
Fluent in written and spoken English; strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate external research projects and drive scientific progress.
Support publications, grant applications and project budgets.
Act as sparring partner for PhD students and postdocs and co-write protocols.
Safeguard research compliance including GDPR, data security and ethical approvals.
Coordinate lab operations with the lab technician and manage budgets and suppliers.
Organise group meetings, 1:1s, system approvals, reporting and onboarding.
