Drug Delivery Innovation – Process Excellence & Digitalisation

Hillerød, Denmark

Are you passionate about enabling digital engineering through robust, compliant and user-friendly IT systems? Join our Digitalisation team and play a key role in keeping the systems that power innovative drug delivery solutions available, secure, validated and continuously improved.

Your new role

As IT System Manager, you will be responsible for managing and validating systems owned by Drug Delivery Innovation, with a strong focus on PLM, CAD, CAE and related digital engineering platforms such as 3DX, CATIA, Windchill and CREO. You will combine hands‑on system management with project delivery, user support, supplier collaboration and compliance activities — all while helping to standardise working methods and ensure easy access to data across development processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Managing, administrating and maintaining PLM, CAD, CAE and MBSE systems — including 3DX, CATIA and related platforms — across application environments, configurations, customisations and user administration
  • Supporting and improving IT infrastructure and equipment that enables virtual testing and digital engineering, while standardising working methods and simplifying development processes
  • Monitoring system performance, capacity and availability, and coordinating improvements with Enterprise IT, GMS IT and external suppliers
  • Managing small to mid-size IT projects such as upgrades, tool evaluations, new capability implementations and process improvements
  • Providing end‑user support, training and best practice communication in collaboration with external training providers
  • Ensuring audit readiness, system validation, validated state maintenance, risk assessments and implementation of relevant IT security requirements
  • Supporting vendor dialogue, licence stack definition, cost model discussions and budget follow‑up in collaboration with the Head of Digitalisation
Your new department

The team's goal is to achieve data and AI‑driven operational excellence by advancing strategic digital transformation priorities. You will work closely with project teams, functional teams, Enterprise IT, CMC, Product Supply, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, external suppliers and other Development teams.

Your Skills & Qualifications
  • A BSc with 8+ years, MSc with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience within IT, engineering, computer science or a related technical field
  • At least five years of experience with PLM and CAD tools and system management, including hands‑on experience administrating platforms such as 3DX, CATIA, Windchill, CREO or similar — complemented by strong skills in scripting or basic programming
  • A technical background or strong understanding of development processes and digital engineering ways of working, with knowledge of IT security, validation, audit readiness and system compliance; regulated industry experience is an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across users, project teams, management, Global IT and external vendors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in spoken and written English

You have a positive can‑do attitude and work independently while balancing high‑level priorities with hands‑on problem solving. You take initiative, are comfortable navigating changing project priorities and stakeholder needs, and set a good example through strong interpersonal skills.
