Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group is seeking a Student Assistant to join the Sustainability Centre of Excellence in Copenhagen/Gentofte. The role focuses on supporting Rolling Responsibly and ESG initiatives, with hands-on work in data, reporting and AI-enabled analytics at our international headquarters.

You will contribute to supplier data analysis, CSRD compliance and sustainability reporting while learning about climate data, supply chains and responsible sourcing in a global FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in first year of a Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience with Power BI a plus.
• Knowledge of Python, ThinkCell and Efficient Elements is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Interest in sustainability reporting, climate data, supply chains, ESG regulation.
• Detail-oriented with understanding of CSRD impact.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, validating and analysing sustainability data from suppliers, including Scope 3 emissions and packaging compliance.
• Generating insights from supplier data, including data collected through Sustainable Tobacco Program.
• Calculating and analysing the CO₂ footprint of packaging solutions using internal tools.
• Monitoring data quality, identifying gaps, and following up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Conducting sustainability research and preparing presentations, reports for senior management.
• Supporting sustainability reporting and regulatory initiatives, including CSRD, PPWR and other ESG requirements.
• Maintaining sustainability documentation and reporting records.
• Assisting in the development of AI-enabled data collection, reporting and analytics solutions.
• Supporting communication activities and content creation.
