Job summary

Tate & Lyle in Lille Skensved is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations, blending strategic development with hands-on leadership to ensure a safe, reliable and efficient site.

You will report to the Plant Director, manage logistics, planning, inventory and cross-functional coordination, drive continuous improvements, develop teams and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Europe.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in supply chain, logistics or production planning.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain at Lille Skensved site.
• Ensure effective procurement, planning, inventory control and formulation activities.
• Monitor production plans and KPIs, addressing OTIF delays as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support European S&OP processes and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ensure audit-ready operations with safety, quality and management systems.

Are you an experienced supply chain professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement? We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop our supply chain activities at our site in Lille Skensved. In this key role, you will combine strategic development with hands‑on operational leadership and help ensure an efficient, reliable and safety‑focused supply chain.

About The Role

As Supply Chain Manager, you will report to the Plant Director and be responsible for planning, managing and continuously optimizing the site’s supply chain. Your area includes logistics, supply and production planning, inventory control, formulation and cross‑functional coordination. You will lead several employees and teams, develop the local supply chain strategy and collaborate closely with colleagues across the site and the wider European organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and optimize the end‑to‑end supply chain at the Lille Skensved site.
• Ensure effective procurement, planning, inventory control and formulation activities.
• Monitor production plans and key performance indicators, including plant‑related OTIF delays, and take action when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Support the European S&OP process and collaborate closely with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Ensure an audit‑ready operation and compliance with safety, quality and other management systems.
• Manage the supply chain budget and contribute to investment and project reviews.
• Develop, motivate and coach your direct reports through clear goals, regular feedback and performance and development conversations.
• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices across teams and functions.

About You

You have a relevant technical or business degree, or equivalent professional experience, combined with demonstrated leadership responsibility. You bring experience from supply chain management, logistics, production planning or a related environment and are confident in analysing and improving processes.
