Job description

Would you like to learn how technology is turned into products and business opportunities? As a Student Worker in Product Management, you will gain hands‑on experience with business cases, product roadmaps, market insights, and exploration of new ideas, working alongside experienced colleagues across our portfolios. You will work at the intersection of technology and business while contributing to solutions that make a real difference. Come and join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real‑world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a student worker in product management to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Student Worker, you will support a broad range of product management activities across our different portfolios. You will work alongside Product Managers on both existing products and the exploration of future opportunities.

You will become part of the Product Management team, consisting of 14 colleagues across Søborg and Lystrup. We work collaboratively to transform ideas into product investments and future business opportunities. We value knowledge sharing, curiosity, and teamwork, creating an environment where you can develop both your commercial and technical understanding.

Technical insight is important, but your mindset matters even more. You are curious, commercially minded, and enjoy learning, exploring new opportunities, and bringing your own perspective to the team.

The practicalities:

Working hours are around 15 hours per week, depending on task load and priorities. Working hours are flexible and will be adapted to fit your academic schedule, as we understand that your education remains your top priority.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support business cases, business plan updates, including financial analysis, and stakeholder coordination across business areas
  • Support product enhancement activities and gate processes, including preparation of presentations, product overviews, and follow‑up activities
  • Maintain portfolio information, product roadmaps, SharePoint sites, and knowledge‑sharing platforms across product domains
  • Explore future product opportunities through market and technology research, trend analysis, and ideation
  • Help improve our product management practices through playbooks, guidelines, process improvements, and Power BI reporting.
Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring some of the following qualifications:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or similar relevant education and have at least two years of studies remaining
  • You have an interest in product management, project management, business development, or related commercial and technical disciplines
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint and are interested in turning data into insights
  • You bring a structured approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with AI tools, business case development, or engineering‑related environments is an advantage but not a requirement.

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, you should be comfortable communicating professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.

Let’s secure people through advanced technology

We believe that different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds make us stronger. We are committed to creating a more diverse and balanced workplace that reflects the talent and perspectives around us. By creating an inclusive environment with equal opportunities to contribute, grow, and succeed, we aim to broaden our talent pool and strengthen our teams for the future. We want everyone to feel welcome, valued, and confident in pursuing their ambitions at Terma.

When joining Terma, we promise that you will experience great people, challenging tasks, and the opportunity to make an impact. Our culture is built on trust, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, where learning is embedded in everyday work and supported by colleagues across all career stages.

We are all Terma - diverse in skills and equal in value. That is why we encourage all individuals to apply and are committed to ensuring that every employee has equal opportunities to succeed and feel respected and valued within our organization. To support an unbiased evaluation process, we kindly encourage applicants to omit personal details such as photos and age from their applications.
