Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Student Worker for Global Insights to help manage and enhance the GI Ad Hoc Research Platforms. You will support quick, agile research projects, run simple qualitative and quantitative studies, and translate findings into actionable guidance for stakeholders.

You will join the Foundation Excellence team within Global Insights, contributing to an insights-led, cross-functional environment and collaborating with partners across the LEGO Group.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an educational institution during employment as a student worker.
  • Typically have 2–3 years left in studies and relevant marketing research or business courses.
  • Strong English skills are required for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, standardize, and develop the GI Ad Hoc Research Platforms.
  • Set up simple qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Produce topline qualitative and quantitative analyses.
  • Serve as key contact for ad hoc research partners and explore new partnerships.
  • Identify opportunity spaces within ad hoc research.
  • Visualize insights and communicate to team and internal partners.
  • Contribute to reports and key findings on the GI Insights Hub.

Job Description Student Worker Global Insights

We´re looking for at student worker who specifically will be focused on managing, maintaining, and further developing the Global Insights Ad Hoc Platform program and will be supporting stakeholders across the company in running quick and agile ad hoc research. The student worker will also be asked to run or support smaller qualitive or quantitative analysis.

Core Responsibilities
  • Managing, maintaining, standardizing, and developing the GI Ad Hoc Research Platforms.
  • Setting up simple qualitative and quantitative studies
  • Topline qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Being the key contact person for our existing ad hoc research partners as well as looking into new partnerships and approaches within quick and agile research
  • Identifying opportunity spaces within the ad hoc research area
  • Visualizing insights and communicating these to team and internal business partners
  • Ad hoc projects, including sharing relevant reports and key findings on the internal insights portal (GI Insights Hub)

Play your part in our team succeeding You will be part of The LEGO Group’s global research function, Global Insights (GI). GI has about 70 engaged employees across the world of which about 40 are working out of the corporate headquarter in Billund. In GI we foster an insights-led organization that leverages a single source of truth to drive commercial impact across the LEGO group. You will be joining the Foundation Excellence team within GI. The Foundation Excellence team is conducting end to end research across a range of different qualitative and quantitative approaches. Putting high quality research at the core of everything, we aim to create strategic vitality by delivering quick, agile and yet strong and impactful business recommendations.

Do you have what it takes?

It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker. Ideally: You have 2 - 3 years left of your studies. You have a good business understanding and it is a big advantage if your studies include relevant marketing research or business courses. You are probably well under way with a relevant academic education (cand.scient.anth, cand.scient.soc, cand.merc, cand.negot etc.) and you might already have relevant marketing or market research experience. You like to dive into qualitative as well as quantitative data, analyze them and turn them into actionable insights. It is expected that you are a super user of the MS office tools - especially Excel and PPT. Experience with Power BI is a plus. The position as a student worker in GI requires a structured working style, that you can take on task responsibilities and that you are able to contribute with ideas and input, in relation to the task you are involved in. You are a strong visual thinker who understands to communicate insights and learnings. You are ambitious, goal-oriented, engaged and motivated, demonstrate positive thinking and a can‑do attitude. You find energy in being tasked with tactical as well as strategic business problems, learn from them and contribute to their solution. You have a strong business understanding and is strategic, analytical, and communicative in how you approach tasks. As English is the official company language, strong English skills are required (verbal as well as written). It is expected that you use English in your reporting and communication tasks as well as in your communication with foreign vendors and team members.
