Job summary

Terma is seeking a Business Ethics Student intern in Denmark to support the Sustainability, ESG and Business Ethics team. You will help conduct due diligence and assist with compliance tasks while learning how ethics, risk management, and responsible decision-making are applied in a high-tech defense/aerospace context.

We are currently looking for a Business Ethics Student to support our compliance efforts and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role in our team

As our new Business Ethics Student, you will be part of a small, dedicated team in the Sustainability, ESG and Business Ethics Department. We are responsible for our sustainability strategy, Code of Conduct, anti‑corruption and human rights work, due diligence and reporting channels.

You will therefore work with a wide variety of stakeholders and compliance matters across the global organization.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting due diligence within anti‑corruption, human rights, and the environment. You will make extensive internet, database, and media search on companies and individuals, and compile the findings into due diligence reports
  • Assist with ad-hoc compliance tasks
Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Furthermore, we are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Just started your Master’s degree or have one year left on your Bachelor’s degree (with a plan of pursuing a Master’s degree afterwards) within political science, risk management, human rights and law, business administration or similar fields
  • Is up to date with geopolitical situations and interested in world events

As a person, you are structured in your approach, excel in research and presenting complex issues into communicable and tangible findings. You are thorough, independent, and have a systematic approach enabling you to maintain an overview of numerous tasks at a time. You are methodical, precise and detailoriented.
