As a Student Assistant, you will become part of a highly specialised optimisation team supporting manufacturing and pharmaceutical supply chain within Novo Nordisk’s production. Your main tasks will vary but will focus on mathematical programming (MILP) for supply chain analysis, capacity planning, production planning & scheduling.

You will be a part of Novo Nordisk manufacturing, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (GMS API) and assigned to Manufacturing 1 (M1), the world’s largest Insulin manufacturing facility located in Kalundborg. M1 has 5 facilities operating under one roof. You will be employed in M1 Bioprocess Improvement-Optimization (M1BIO), a group of 8 highly skilled colleagues plus MSc students all working with advanced process modelling, simulation, analysis, control and optimization for representation of (bio-) chemical digital twins and the pharmaceutical supply chain. This position is hourly paid. For this position, the hourly base rate is 241,34 DKK, based on an assessment of relevant factors such as experience, educational background, demonstrated competencies, and the specific skills required for the position. In addition to the hourly base rate, Student Assistants are entitled to a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
