Job summary

Aarhus University’s Plant-PATH Center of Excellence is seeking a student assistant to support administrative activities and do some hands-on laboratory tasks within an international research environment in Aarhus.

The position is fixed-term, hourly paid, about 5 hours per week, starting 15 October 2026, ending 30 June 2027. Applicants must be enrolled as students in natural sciences or related fields and be able to work both independently and with researchers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student in a natural science field or related area.
• Interested in gaining experience in both research support and administrative tasks.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Structured and flexible approach to administrative and practical tasks.
• Good written and oral communication in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for day-to-day activities of the Plant-PATH Center.
• Assist with practical organisation and coordination of Centre activities.
• Support researchers with routine laboratory tasks and other practical work.
• Contribute to a well-organised and supportive working environment for researchers.
• Collaborate closely with Plant-PATH research groups and the Centre Coordinator.
