Job summary

Aalborg Universitet søger en studenterhjælper til Rapid Control Prototyping og Laboratorie Tests. Stillingen starter 1. oktober 2026 eller snarest muligt og slutter 30. juni 2027.

Der ønskes kendskab til kraftsystemer, styring og software som MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS og Python, samt erfaring med sensorteknologier og dataanalyse. Arbejdsopgaverne omfatter udvikling af kontrolalgoritmer, PLC-opsætninger og laboratoriearbejde.

Qualifications

  • Kendskab til kraftsystemer, kraft elektronik og styring.
  • Kendskab og/eller erfaring med MATLAB/Simulink og PLECS.
  • Erfaring med Python-programmering, herunder udvikling, test og automatisering.

Responsibilities

  • Implementering og verifikation af konverterstyringsalgoritmer med grid-formende kapaciteter på dSpace-platform.
  • Support til udvikling af PLC-baserede styringsopstillinger.
  • Softwareudvikling og laboratoriebaseret eksperimentelt arbejde for integration af digitale værktøjer i viklingstillverkningsprocessen.

Student helper for Rapid Control Prototyping and Laboratory Testing
Jobbeskrivelse

AAU Energy is looking for a student helper for Rapid Control Prototyping and Laboratory Testing. The position is from October 1st 2026 or as soon as possible hereafter and ends on June 30th 2027.

The position requires:
  • knowledge on power systems, power electronics and control
  • knowledge and/or working experience with Matlab Simulink and PLECS
  • experience in Python programming, including development, testing, and automation tasks.
  • working experience with thermal cameras, including data acquisition and communication protocols.
  • experience in data analysis using relevant tools for processing, visualization, and interpretation

The student helper will support specific activities in VRE2H2 and GreenMag projects. The following tasks are expected:

The following tasks are expected:
  • implementation and verification of converter control algorithms with grid forming capabilities on dSpace platform
  • support on development of PLC-based control setups
  • software development and laboratory based experimental work for integration of digital tools into the winding manufacturing process.
