Job summary

Bavarian Nordic is seeking a Student Assistant to support ESG efforts within the Finance Department in Hellerup. The role focuses on improving reporting processes, delivering ESG data and insights, and documenting KPIs. Flexible 15–20 hours per week, ideal for a master’s student in finance with ESG interest.

You will report to the Head of Accounting and ESG Finance and collaborate with a global team across Europe and North America.

Qualifications

Because we are looking for a Student Assistant to support ESG efforts in our Finance Department - helping us improve processes and deliver valuable insights to the business.

Boost our team
You will join our small ESG team within the Finance department, focused on enhancing ESG reporting processes and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will report to the Head of Accounting and ESG Finance, based in our Hellerup office.

This is how you will contribute
Our team covers the full ESG data, compliance, analysis, and reporting landscape, including external reporting in accordance with CSRD/ESRS, internal reporting to Executive Management and supporting strategic initiatives.

Your tasks will include:

• Supporting the improvement and optimization of ESG reporting processes and data flows for internal and external reporting (Annual Report)
• Assisting in the delivery of accurate, timely ESG data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to the documentation and reporting of ESG-related KPIs.

We expect you to work approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around exam periods.

About you
You are currently studying for a master’s degree or in the final year of your bachelor’s in finance, ideally with coursework in ESG or sustainability. Experience in finance or sustainability is a plus.
