Job summary

Bavarian Nordic A/S, a global vaccine company headquartered in Denmark, is seeking a Student Assistant to support ESG efforts in our Finance Department. This role offers exposure to ESG reporting processes, data flows, and collaboration with international colleagues on sustainability initiatives.

You will work about 15-20 hours per week while studying for a master's or finishing a bachelor's in finance, with coursework in ESG or sustainability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's degree or in the final year of a bachelor's in finance, ideally with ESG/sustainability coursework.
• Experience in finance or sustainability is a plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the improvement and optimization of ESG reporting processes and data flows for internal and external reporting (Annual Report).
• Assist in the delivery of accurate, timely ESG data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the documentation and reporting of ESG-related KPIs.

Boost our team You will join our small ESG team within the Finance department, focused on enhancing ESG reporting processes and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will report to the Head of Accounting and ESG Finance, based in our Hellerup office. At Bavarian Nordic, you will be part of a small but global and professional organization, giving you exposure to international colleagues and the opportunity to make an impact.

This is how you will contribute

• Supporting the improvement and optimization of ESG reporting processes and data flows for internal and external reporting (Annual Report)
• Assisting in the delivery of accurate, timely ESG data and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to the documentation and reporting of ESG-related KPIs.

We expect you to work approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility around exam periods.

About you

You are currently studying for a master's degree or in the final year of your bachelor's in finance, ideally with coursework in ESG or sustainability. Experience in finance or sustainability is a plus. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented student with a passion for sustainability and a collaborative mindset. Your curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic finance environment will be key to your success.
