Job summary

JYSK is seeking a motivated Student Assistant to support our FP& A team in Denmark. You will assist with BI tool maintenance, data accuracy, and budgeting processes, gaining hands-on experience in financial data management and reporting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant university program (Finance, Business, Economics; 2nd year Bachelor to 1st year Master).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in M365 suite (Excel, PPT, etc.).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., SAC, Power BI).
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with financial concepts and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correctness of data in BI (analysis, troubleshooting, etc.).
• Assist in the budgeting process.
• Support the organization regarding BI issues.
• Develop and optimize BI reports (filters, structures, etc.) upon request.
• Key figure maintenance and documentation.
• Maintenance and development of hierarchies in BI (e.g., site, profit center, etc.).
• Ad hoc tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Student Assistant to support our Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A) department. In this role, you will assist with BI tool maintenance, ensure data accuracy, and provide technical support for budgeting processes. You will work closely with the entire FP&A team, gaining hands‑on experience in financial data management, analysis, report building, and budgeting.
